Majengo Children’s Home
The lodge supports Majengo Children’s Home in Mto wa Mbu with food and clothing, and the children are welcome to use the pool.
Three village schools
The lodge is working with the local government to fund chairs, tables and stationery for three nursery and primary schools.
Local employment
The lodge team is employed from Mto wa Mbu village and trained on site.
Local craft
Furniture is handcrafted by Tanzanian artisans, and the paintings and carvings displayed throughout the lodge are the work of local artists.
